Paul Barton Tachographs have been an established family business since 1990 specialising in tachograph & speed limiter services, repairs and tracker fitments. Our dedicated and reliable team of specialists have over twenty five years of experience delivering a fast and reliable service, fuelled by providing customer satisfaction.
Paul Barton began his career within the family business Barton Transport in 1965, working within the tachograph department. In 1989 the business was sold to Trent Buses, now well known as Trent Barton Buses. Soon after, Paul and his cousin Paul Henry Barton took over the tachograph business, operating from the family premises in Chilwell. After the decision to redevelop the land, the business moved in 2007 to Beeston Business Park.
Over the years we have fitted tachographs to rally cars, trains and even buses being exported to Hong Kong! Today, we mainly fit to large goods vehicles (LGVs) and 4×4 vehicles. Our friendly staff ensure that you have no problems parking and that you can usually wait for your tachograph servicing and repairs to be carried out. Our prompt ‘while you wait’ service is what we proud ourselves on and what LGV & PCV operators appreciate.
Paul Barton Tachographs embarked on further developments recently as the business was handed over to another local family business, Sandicliffe Ltd. We are now located across the road from Sandicliffe Ford Dealership, Nottingham Road, Stapleford and next to Sandicliffe Approved Used Cars.
